The PercuNav Clinical Environment Simulator, an eLearning tool and promotional piece, was created for Philips Healthcare in 2015. Conceived as a way to help introduce Philips new PercuNav interventional suite, MVP designed and developed 3 different configurations portrayed in 3 different clinical environments to give a crystal-clear view of the applications of the interventional suite and the various ways it can be used. Special transitions and a unique rotating control were developed to make the transition between equipment configurations more visually interesting. The tool includes a new custom 75-second animation developed by MVP to explain how the equipment works, as well as a wide variety of images and documents explaining particular aspects of the medical equipment involved accessible via clickable hot spots. The combination of rich interactivity, eye-appealing design, and easy navigation through numerous informational resources all reflect the many ways custom computer programming services combined with strong design can work together to create effective new ways of communicating.
